Mountain bikers will get to test their endurance in a grueling 24-hour mountain bike race set amid the scenery of New Hampshire’s White Mountains in August.
The Big Day Brewing 24 Hours of Great Glen event will take place August 1 and 2 at Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center in Gorham, New Hampshire.

This will be the 26th year for one of New England’s most iconic mountain bike races.
The event challenges mountain bikers to complete as many laps of the 9.1-mile loop course as they can in 24 hours.
Riders can participate as individual racers or as part of a team. In addition to the 24-hour race, the event also offers a 12-hour option.

The race features a “Le Mans” start where participants circle the pond on foot before getting on their bikes. The course covers the carriage roads of Great Glen Trails combined with single track through North Country woodlands.
The course also features an optional floating bridge across a pond at the end of each lap.
In addition to the race, the event includes camping, live music, kids events, food trucks, and beer provided by New Hampshire brewer Big Day Brewing.
