New York’s picturesque Tupper Lake will be the scene for an 8-mile paddling race on June 21.
The race is being held to benefit the Adirondack Health Foundation’s Heart Health Initiative.
Organizers say participants in the race will take on a course that travels through picturesque landscapes and dynamic waters.
The race begins at the Town of Tupper Lake Boat Launch (Tupper Lake Rod & Gun Club) on Lake Simond Road, follows the Route 30 bridge, continues up the Raquette River to the Oxbow, and returns to the boat launch.
Registration is open, with entry fees covering race participation, awards, and a post-race BBQ.
