We are now well into June, with the first official day of summer a mere week and a half away.
Most people in the Northeast are now focused on warm weather activities: summer camping trips, days spent at the beach, maybe surfing, paddling and whitewater rafting.
For most, the ski season is a distant memory.
But not for everyone.
Despite what the calendar says, some people are continuing to ski on Mount Washington in New Hampshire.

Skier Dominic Torro recently shared a reel of him skiing Airplane Gully in the Great Gulf Wilderness on the northeast side of Mount Washington.
He shot the video on Wednesday, June 3.
That skiable snow might linger for a few more weeks. Torro, who works as a guide in the winter and said he has skied 103 days this year, said it’s not unusual for him to find areas for skiing in June, and he has skied the Whites into late June before.
