The body of a kayaker was found by search crews in a Massachusetts pond Sunday evening.
According to officials with the Southborough Police Department, they received a report of a possible drowning in Crystal Pond in Southborough, Massachusetts shortly before 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 7.
A bystander along the shore reported seeing a kayak flip over and the person in it go under water.
Southborough Fire Department and EMS personnel responded to the scene. Dive teams from District 14 Fire and Massachusetts State Police were called to the scene. The Massachusetts State Police Air Wing also responded to assist in the search, and Westborough Police assisted with their Drone Unit.
Dive teams discovered the body of the 43-year-old resident of Framingham, Massachusetts shortly before 7:30 p.m.
