New Hampshire’s Ragged Mountain Resort has been sold to a group of local investors with ties to the mountain.
The resort in Danbury, New Hampshire was listed for sale in March. According to a report in New England Ski Industry, the resort was sold to SF Mountain Co., LLC (SFMC) for $6.4 million in a deal that was finalized on Tuesday, November 4.
SFMC is reportedly led by six friends who grew up skiing at Ragged.

According to a report on Ski Area Management, Christian Knapp, the chief marketing officer of PGR, which sold the property, says the new owners intend to keep Ragged Mountain rooted in community.
“The new owners are locally based and have expressed a strong desire to preserve the welcoming community vibe and partnerships that have made Ragged the go-to mountain for families in central New Hampshire,” he said.
All season pass products and reciprocal benefits will reportedly be honored for the 2025–26 season.
Ragged Mountain was first developed in 1965 and features 1,250 feet of vertical drop, two high-speed chairlifts, a triple chair, and a mix of terrain for all ability levels.
