After discovering a dead zone of vegetation on a small swath of land overlooking the Neponset River, conservation officials in Milton, Massachusetts, have launched an investigation to find out who or what laid waste to the area, according to an article on PatriotLedger.com.

The ground is bare, the trees are all dead, and one scientist who examined the roughly one-third of an acre site down-slope from the end of Milton Hill Road concluded that a herbicide similar to Agent Orange appears to have killed everything it touched.
