Two former marine captains reached the peak of Mount Katahdin yesterday, completing their hike of the entire Appalachian Trail. Along the way they raised $30,000 for disabled veterans.
During their journey, the two stopped at nearly 40 Veterans of Foreign Wars halls to raise money for Warrior Hike, a nonprofit organization that helps cover the costs of adaptive vehicles for wounded veterans.
