Skiers and riders who need a break from the slopes can now hone their climbing skills at Vermont’s Stratton Resort.

New for this winter, Stratton has opened its first indoor climbing gym, CLIMB – Stratton Rocks and Boulders.

The gym is located in the village, two doors down from Bar 802, and has 15 auto-belay routes that reach 25 feet high. There’s also a spacious bouldering section.

Time slots are 60 minutes. Climbing harnesses are supplied with auto belays. Climbing are required and available to rent if you don’t have your own.

Stratton officials say the new climbing gym is only Phase 1, and more additions will be made to the gym.
