The Mount Ascutney Resort in West Windsor, Vermont, left a recreational void when it closed five years. But, according to an article on VNews.com, the area has once again become a destination thanks to work by the group Sport Trails of the Ascutney Basin (STAB).

The western base of Ascutney now features approximately 34 miles of non-motorized, multi-use recreational trails, the result of exhaustive and persistent efforts from volunteer STAB members over the last decade.
