A new mountain bike trail network is coming to central Connecticut.
The Central Connecticut branch of the New England Mountain Bike Association recently reached an agreement with the town of Cheshire, Connecticut to build a new network of mountain bike trails in the town.
The two parties have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding to build the trails on 300 acres of open space known as the Yankee Highlands property.
Town officials said NEMBA volunteers will begin working on trail development in the coming months.
