After years of work by local bike advocates, a new bike park is about to become a reality in Holliston, Massachusetts.
At their annual Town Meeting on Monday, May 11, Holliston residents approved $650,000 in funding to create the new Holliston Bike Park.
Plans for the bike park include creating a “purpose-built, family-friendly riding area” that will connect to the Holliston Rail Trail. The park will be designed for all skill levels, and it will include a looping course of rollers and banked turns for fun, flow, and bike-handling skills; progressive jump lines of small to advanced jumps; and a hybrid walking/biking loop with wooden skinnies, rock gardens, and balance features overlooking the entire park.
The park could be ready for riders as soon as this fall.

Organizers said they hope to finish the bidding process by mid-July, after which construction can begin. They acknowledge it’s an ambitious goal, but they said they hope to have the park ready for the beginning of the 2026-27 school year.
Members of Blackstone Valley New England Mountain Bike Association have worked with Holliston Parks and Recreation and the Holliston Conservation Commission on the project. They have partnered with trail builder Avid Trails for design and engineering.
