Plans include adding 16 ‘micro-cabins’ to the mountain.
A ski area in Massachusetts will soon be adding year-round overnight lodging.
Bousquet Mountain in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, recently received approval by the Pittsfield Community Development Board for a site plan for 16 “micro-cabins” at the ski area, according to an article on BerkshireEagle.com.

Bousquet officials said the plans include creating four two-bedroom cabins and 12 one-bedroom cabins. The cabins will be available throughout the year.
The cabins will be built in a phased plan that won’t begin until 2026. The first phase includes building just three or four cabins to prove that there is demand for lodging and the plan is viable.

Bousquet offers skiing and snowboarding, plus a terrain park and tubing.
Opened in 1932, Bousquet is the oldest ski area in the Berkshires. It tops out at 1,818 feet and features 750 feet of vertical.
Bousquet shares its unlimited Summit pass with Berkshire Mountain and Catamount resorts.
