One of the most popular whitewater races in the Northeast is scheduled to be held along the New Haven River in Bristol, Vermont on April 14.

The race is a pure time trial event. Racers launch from a start ramp above Slide By The Road and finish in the pool below Toaster Falls.

The course length is approximately .53 miles. Each racer is entitled to two attempts at the course per class, recording their fastest of the two times.

Competitors will be divided into different classes, including Creek Boat (7’1″ to 9′) and Long Boat (9’1″+). The “New Haven Ledgend” will be the fastest Creek Boat competitor, with the champions in other classes and any one else organizers deem worthy of receiving recognition.
