A Holden, Massachusetts man was attacked by a bobcat Monday night.
According to the Worcester Telegram and Gazette, Michael Votruba had just arrived home from work when he saw the animal, which started growling at him. Votruba drew a pistol he was carrying, but fell as he was walking backwards. The bobcat then lunged at his leg and then his chest.
Votruba was able to throw the cat down and shoot it twice. But the cat jumped on his chest again, and Votruba fired two more shots before the cat ran to Votruba’s carport. His girlfriend brought out a rifle, and Votruba fired again until the animal was dead. (READ MORE)
