On Sunday, December 21, New York’s Windham Mountain will celebrate World Snowboard Day with a number of events, along with the Cody Veverka Memorial Rail Jam.
Recognized in over 14 countries, World Snowboard Day highlights the sports history and growth.
Windham’s new and improved terrain parks will take center stage that day as the resort’s festivities will feature park events, learn to snowboard savings and more for all levels of snowboard enthusiasts. In honor of World Snowboard Day, Shred Love will host a Volunteer Appreciation Day at Windham Mountain. All past and current volunteers, along with a guest, are invited to attend the day’s festivities.
Additionally, the Cody Veverka Memorial Rail Jam will kickoff at 11 a.m. and will include the unveiling of a memorial jib feature. Registration for the event will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
