While surfing the web, I recently came across an interesting post by the administrators of Hike-NH.com. Considering the subject of their website, you might expect them to readily extol the virtues of every hike in the Granite State. But what made this post interesting was they were making a case for NOT climbing the region’s highest peak, Mount Washington. And not just because it’s dangerous, but, essentially, because it sucks.
Not only can this peak easily kill you, they argue, but it is crowded and the views are usually terrible. (READ MORE)
